Implant Prosthodontics

A Patient-Oriented Concept: Planning | Treatment Procedures | Longevity | Esthetics | Function | Digital Technologies | Dental Technology

Clinicians will be familiar with the landmark first edition of this comprehensive and systematic textbook on implant-supported prosthodontic restorations. Now, this updated and expanded second edition gives you more, with the same thorough, patient-centered, and evidence-based approach to customized restorations. Over 3,000 beautiful clinical images illustrate the text, and useful information and summaries are provided in comprehensive tables, graphs, and charts. The numerous carefully designed decision trees simplify the decision process toward the appropriate treatment for every type of patient. The content flows from initial planning to aftercare, with the goal of providing each patient with the optimal treatment. Above all, there is a focus on the crucial interfaces between implantology and prosthodontics, prosthodontics and dental technology, and the patient and treatment team.

The book is divided into two volumes, with current information on digital workflows updating the content throughout. Volume 1 contains sections on the basic principles, treatment concept and planning, and clinical procedure. Volume 2 includes numerous patient case examples that expand on and elucidate the various concepts covered in Volume 1. It concludes with a section on dental laboratory procedures that encompasses both analog and digital workflows. Both volumes include comprehensive information on materials and equipment. Dental professionals who require up-to-the-minute information and who prioritize a patient-centered approach in their work cannot afford to miss this publication!
